Youth without Youth

The fantasy drama film is based on book called „Youth without Youth“ as well written by Romanian  writer Mircea Eliade. The Youth without Youth film was directed by Francis Ford Coppola in 2007. Coppola said that he made the film as a meditation on time and on consciousness. The main character of the film is ´70 years old professor called Dominic Matei, later known like  “Martin Audricourt”  who after lightning strike becomes young again (about 40 years old).



The main idea of film is known as  “summarise history.”




My opinion:
I think that film was very interesting. At the beginning of the film was boring but then I like it. I did not know that the film ends, because this film wasn´t typical for me. But I like it. On the other hand the film contained lots of depressing and sad emotions. Sometimes I did not understand what was happening.
I really like actors, because they played their characters well.
